World Wide Update

Overview

Currently, TheWayCM is planning to go on five or six long-haul missions next year (2009) and, at least, two European Missions. I have been training-up two men to help with the filming and the general missions work. In time these men will also lead missions.
The work in Africa is consolidating and growing rapidly – TheWayCM is now strong in six countries and reaching into another five.
The new areas of rapid growth are in India and Pakistan; Nepal has had a slight glitch since our TFL Coordinator went to Bible College but we are about to start working with some new affiliates in Nepal and out of them we hope to raise-up a National Apostlic Team. I am hoping to visit Myanmar for two days to lead a Pastors and Leaders conference in Yangon.
There is some activity in the Philippines and it looks like Mexico will become more involved with TheWayCM in 2009.

Nepal

Apostle Krishna says; “The TFL discipleship course has very much potential and Nepal, it is the right place for it. It is necessary for somebody to be here to oversee the TFL Foundations resources.
When you come to Nepal in April next year (2009), our ministry will be with you, at the same time, the people who are going to use the materials, they will be join the programme.
I fully agree and I am ready to support what the Lord shows you about TFL for Nepali people. We are waiting to work together for expanding His Kingdom in Nepal.
Thank you again for your continued prayer, encouragement and support.
Praise the Lord, all ministerial works and children’s work is going well. We are praying and working hard and heartily to reach every unreached soul of this nation. We want to see the Hindus dramatically turn from darkness into the light....
Politically, the situation of Nepal is much improving day by day.
The new President Ram Baran Yadav, elected from the Nepali congress party a few weeks ago, is the first President of the Republic of Nepal . The Maoist Communist chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has been elected as the first Prime Minister of the Republic Nepal
I had the opportunity to congratulate the Prime Minister and I was able to present to him the position of Nepali Christians. Looking at the views of the government and the people of Nepal towards Christians, we Nepal Christians are categorized as second-class citizens of Nepal. This means that we still are struggling for religious freedom and our rights.  We are praying that God would help us to receive total freedom, government facilities, rights and equality from this new Republic government.”

India

Apostle Vinay says: “Thank you so much for your blessed words. Every time I am getting strength through your encouraging and Spirit filled words. I thank and praise the Lord who joined us together in Christ Jesus.
Today I told some people about our Gist. People are very happy. And when I returned home my wife, Mary Grace, told me that our Gist will be popular like other daily devotions. She told me while she was praying God reveled to her this thing. Really, I was touched by her words and I strongly believe that God is going make TheWayCM a great blessing to the world. I am so happy to be part of it and to be a national overseer.
Now I am 34 years old. I want do ministry as much as I can. I am always ready to spread the word of God 24 hours without rest. Now in the day time I am going out visiting church members, our pastors and their ministries and spreading our ministry, through TheWayCM news and videos. At night I am sitting and busy translating your videos and dubbing.
I want to be more busy in the Lord’s work. Therefore, I am very happy to go out to other districts and start TFL Training Centres in Visakhapatnam and East & West Godavari districts. Thank you so much for encouraging me to go there and start our ministry centres. Please pray, it is a terrorist area.
Two days every week we are showing your videos on TV. We are getting a good response. Please pray for a New TV & DVD player. I know that God is enlarging our ministry territories. I think you will be very busy when you visit India.
Please pray for my health and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Let every word that goes from my mouth touch the hearts of the people. Let every one feel the touch and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Every day I am thanking the Lord for your blessed fellowship.
This morning I went Rajeev Colony and visited the victims of the cyclone. I saw some old people; they are in a very bad condition. They lost their houses and every thing. Many families lost all their belongings but I distributed 10 kilos of rice to 16 old people. They don’t have strength to work nor do they receive aid from anywhere. These people are in need of cloths, cooking vessels and some financial assistance. When they receive rice from us, they are very happy.”

Some of women are widows who came to this meeting and told us that they wanted to work for the glory of God and His Kingdom but they had some financial problems. DR Congo

Apostle Frank says;Thank you so very much for your committed prayers for His Ministry here in DRC Bukavu.
Last month was a month of great success in our Ministry here in Bukavu, I wrote to you that we had only three Home Churches, but at the end of last month another one Home Church was opened with 11 Members, and in the other three Home Churches members have been increased.
In the last month the Lord also has done great work in two of the Home Churches, the husbands in one of the homes where we gather for the church were put into the prison, and the women were so very much discouraged to see that in spite of their work of the Lord in their homes, their husbands had been put into prison ....... so we made prayers to the Lord and they all were released from prison and this brought a great encouragement to these women and made their faith increase. Praise His holy name!
Also four children of our members were very sick; we lifted them up into the Lord's hands and they all were healed, and we gave all glory to Jesus who is so faithful.
Thank you so very much for upholding us in your prayers, the Lord is doing good work in our midst.”

Kiango Crusade Report - June 2008

Glory to God

The Way Christian Ministries gathered together our Great Lakes Apostles from Rwanda, DR Congo, Burundi, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya for a crusade in Kiango in the Kisii Lands area of Western Kenya. The crusade ran from June 17th to 22nd and was a great success. Here are the reports from some of our Apostles. Glory to God ….

From Apostle Chuma Kenya

The  Apostolic Team are on their way back to their own countries. We had a wonderful crusade at Kiangp and we received more than 500 new followers - praise God.
We also opened more than 30 Home Churches in Kiango. Thank you very much for your prayers and your assistance.
It is like the Apostles were sent to open the way for Africa. I stayed with them and truly they are servents of God, they did a commendable work.
I also thank God for Apostle Emmanuel (Rwanda) for his hard work in The Way Christian Ministries.
The Apostles were also touched with the way the work of God has expanded in
Kenya. I was also happy to hear that God has opened ways for Rwanda, I am ever ready to go to Rwanda for the crusade and to start a TFL Centre there, praise God. Our crusade in Kiango will never be forgotten by many people because it was FIRE, FIRE, FIRE.
Our
TFL Centre accommodated around 600 people in our meetings. Apostle Emmanuel was the main speaker in the teachings and Charles Ndagijimana from Rwanda was also the main speaker in the crusade, assisted by Apostle Uwoyitungiye Donatien from Burundi. To my surprise they are very good in Kiswahil, praise God.
If we continue meeting in such meetings I am very sure God will do something in Africa. I am saying this because of what God did in Kiango will dwell in many people. I also thank you for your assistance which you provided for the crusade, if it was not you who provided the funds for our Apostles to come to Kenya they would not have been able to come.
TheWayCM
Kenya has moved to another stage and I believe that in Kisii we have now more than 1,500 followers, praise God.
I am going to start arranging the crusade of
Rwanda in the next four months so that we can expand TheWayCM Africa.

From Apostle Emmanuel Hakizimana Rwanda

Greetings in the name of our lord Jesus Christ ,we love you ,we are back in Rwanda and all the Great Lakes Region  Apostles have returned to their own country ,we are well with no problems; we were protected by the prayers of you and Nancy.
The journey was made by the Apostles of The Way Christian Ministries from the Great Lakes Region to Kiango ,we were meet by Apostle Chuma at place called Kisumu
Kenya he drove us up to Kiango, to the place where the crusade took place. The Seminar and Crusade started on 17th up to 22 June 2008. In the Seminar two days of teachings were about Foundations, another two days introducing TFL, on the other two days I taught from the Swahili booklet of the Gist you sent me, then in the crusade we were divided so that every Apostle could work and preach in the crusade ,the harvest was so much .
Many people were saved, about 500 people, we were encouraging  many pastors from different places and denominations to work together we told them about Home Churches many pastors were interested in opening home churches ,we spent one day going around in the village doing evangelism house to house ,I visited the primary school at Kiango where you feed the children, I wish, if it is possible, you can help Rwandese children also .
Apostle Chuma welcomed us well, at Kiango they didn't want us to go back .

From Apostle Uwoyitungiye Donatien Burundi

I greet you in the name of Jesus. I thank God that the trip was well, we left with God and we also came back with him. We saw the hand and miracles of God at Kiango.
We arrived at Kiango on Monday at
11 PM, we have started the programme of evangelization from Tuesday to Sunday.
In the morning we were doing evangelism and in the afternoon the crusade. Sick people have been healed, we saw a lot of miracles because many people have been saved who did agree to receive Jesus as their Lord and their salvation, we did ask them to go in home churches in order to get help.
We found out that the
church of Kiango does need help materially and spiritually. Kiango. It is a city that needs help with rural development.
We thank you deeply for the ticket, we had the opportunity of getting to know other members of the WayChristianMinistries, we had a good time and we have decided to work very hard so the WayChristianMinistry may be known every where in Africa.

From Apostle Sande Musa Uganda

Thanks so much for your sponsorship during our visit to the Kiango Crusade Kenya.
It was nice to meet with other Apostles from different countries.
We had meetings in and outside the church and everybody was given a chance to minister.
We really saw the hand of God with us in every meeting at Kiango.
We had a crusade in the Kiango TFL Centre and many people gave their lives to Jesus, thanks for your prayers.
On Friday went round the Kiango village preaching house to house and every house we entered, people were excited to hear the gospel and hence many decided to take Jesus as their personal saviour.
Now regarding home churches in
Uganda, things are moving on very well and we so far have five, I will try to get some photos and send you after settling. Thanks so much for everything.

Mission to Kenya and Rwanda 2006

Africa Reports - March 2008

Kenya
This week I was asked to do something that I had never done before. I was asked to participate in the funeral of the sister-in-law of Apostle Chuma using a link-up between my mobile phone and his. Chuma had connected his mobile phone to a loud speaker. It all seems to have gone well. It was an honour and a privilege to be able to address the gathered members of TheWayCM. Sadly, another two of our members have lost their lives in the recent violence but because the roads are impassable and due to the threat of attack, their bodies cannot yet be brought back to their villages for burial.

More Training needed ......

Burundi
I met Pastor Donacien Uwoyitungiye from Burundi we discussed about TheWayCM. The details and goals of TheWayCM and the Foundations Course motivated him. I explained to him about the Home Churches. He has started Home Churches as I instructed him.

I realized that Home Church leaders in Burundi need training and I organised how to teach and equip them so that they may help others. I expect to go to back to Burundi soon.

Home Churches ........

Bukavu – DR Congo
I met Pastor Fred Wilondja Wakula and Guillaume. We discussed about the Ministry asking them many things concerning the work of God. Although they are in crisis (War) I found that they had started Home Churches. I explained how TheWayCM works and the purposes and goals of TheWayCM.

I discovered that they need the same teachings of Foundations then I decided to visit them and have 3 days seminar to equip leaders.

Training for Life Centre .......

Rwanda
Home Churches are moving well with different teachings like, Foundations, Water to Wine and with some of the teaching from The Call and the Cross. With prayers God will bless us. We are planning to open another three Home Churches, at Kabuga, Gatenga and Kimisagara, all those three they are in Kigali but different places and areas. We are also opening another Home Church in Cyangugu.

I have found a big plantation where we can put TheWayCM Training for Life Centre. It will cost about 3,000,000 Rwanda Francs (2,820 GBP, 5,530 USD and 3,765 Euros)
